Data Protection Workshop

In partnership with the foundation Konrad Adenauer Stiftung the Institute for Digital Economy prepared a series of six workshops devoted to actual Digital Single Market regulation. The goal of this series is to prepare the position of Czech companies towards the currently prepared regulation and discuss its impact on Czech companies in one working paper.

The first issue was the Data Protection package. The workshop dealt with Data Protection package. Specifically it dealt with the issues of valid consent, right to erasure. Further then new duties connected to data security, especially privacy by design and by default, security od data processing, data breach or the institute of Data Protection Officer and data transfer abroad.
